For our 1st annual community-wide coat drive last year, we collected and distributed over 200 coats to local kids in need! Thanks to you, it was a huge success!!! When the coats were dropped off at the local schools, the Social Workers often commented that it was a Blessing, as many of their students were coming to school in the very cold weather wearing only t-shirts and shorts/pants. Many of those students have to wait at the bus stops in the early frosty mornings with no outerwear. Heartbreaking.

Would you consider donating again this year? We need new or barely used winter coats for local children ages 4-18. That means toddler sizes up to Adult XXL.

The best and cheapest place to buy coats this year have been Ross, TJ Maxx, Wal-Mart and Dirt Cheap. (Many of the coats are $20-30. You can imagine how hard it is for a needy family to purchase coats for their kids if they’re struggling to pay rent/food/heat).
